Event videography in Toronto, cut the same night.
Festivals, launches and nights out, shot for the vertical feed and posted while people still care.
Festivals, nightlife and shows we have cut
We plan event coverage for the phone first, then cut the recap for organizers and sponsors from the same footage. The whole method is in our notes on Toronto event videography.
One night of footage. Thirty days of posts.
What one night becomes
Frames from our Do West Fest coverage on Dundas Street West, laid on the posting plan we recommend to event clients in our event notes.

Night of The footage, before the cut
What you get
The standard event package. Crew size and the number of cutdowns move with the event; the shape stays the same.
| Deliverable | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Same-night clips | Two or three vertical clips, edited on site as the cards come in | Night of |
| Next-morning reel | Crowd energy, reactions and the walk-through: usually the one that travels | Next morning |
| Vertical cutdowns | 8 to 15 clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, captioned where people speak | Days 2 to 5, then weekly |
| Event recap film | 60 to 90 seconds, horizontal, with a licensed track, titles and sponsor logos where required | Week 2, YouTube and website |
| Stills | 30 to 60 edited frames, pulled from footage or shot alongside the video | Website, press, next year |
| Sponsor clips | Short, isolated clips of each sponsor activation, sized for their channels | Sponsors' own channels |
| Raw selects | Organized by moment, not by camera card | On request |
| Posting plan | One page, in the shared folder with everything above | With delivery |
How it runs
The brief
Tell us the date, the venue and where the footage needs to live. That answer decides the lenses, the framing and the crew.
Day onePre-production
We walk the venue or route, read the run-of-show, build the shot list and set up the edit template with your fonts and colours.
Two weeks out; a month for festivalsThe event
Two tracks from one crew: vertical moments and wider recap coverage. One operator for a launch or a DJ set, two or three for a street festival.
The nightSame-night edit
An editor pulls selects as cards come in, so two or three clips are ready before the event closes.
Before closeDelivery
Recap, cutdowns, stills and sponsor clips in a shared folder, with a one-page posting plan.

Cost and coverage
What moves the cost
Crew size and edit time move the number most.
We size a crew by how many things happen at once, not by how prestigious the event is. A same-night editor, the number of cutdowns and the sponsor deliverables all add edit time.
Where we shoot
Toronto and the GTA.
Narsaik is based in Toronto and shoots across the Greater Toronto Area, from street festivals like Do West Fest on Dundas Street West to food and wine shows and nightlife. Travel outside the GTA is quoted separately.
We also make product video and monthly content.
Questions
How far ahead should we book an event videographer in Toronto?
Two weeks is comfortable for most single-night events: time to walk the venue, read the run-of-show, build the shot list and set up the edit template. Larger festivals benefit from a month, mostly for sponsor deliverables.
Can you edit and post the same night?
Yes. A same-night edit is part of standard event coverage. Two or three vertical clips are usually ready before the event closes, and the next-morning reel by early the following day.
What is the difference between an event recap and event reels?
A recap is a 60 to 90 second horizontal film of the whole event for organizers, sponsors and the website. Reels are short vertical clips, each built on one moment, posted over several weeks.
Do you film sponsor activations?
Yes. We shoot activations and branding on purpose and deliver isolated clips sized for each sponsor's own channels.
How many videographers does an event need?
One operator covers a small launch or a DJ set well with a tight shot list. A street festival across several blocks needs two or three, because the moments happen in parallel.
How much does event videography cost in Toronto?
It depends mostly on crew size and edit time. Our Toronto video production cost guide breaks down what each level of production includes, and every quote is itemized.
Planning event coverage in Toronto?
Tell us the date, the venue and where the footage needs to live. We come back with a shot list, a crew plan and a posting cadence built for the vertical feed.
