Product video production for Toronto brands.
Reels for food, drink and consumer products, built in three scenes and made for a phone held upright.
Products we have put on camera
Hot honey, hummus, sauces, watches, pillows. Different products, one structure: a hook, the product in use, a payoff. The formula is written up in our three-scene reel notes.
One shoot day. A shelf of reels.
What one shoot day becomes
The Halifax Honey melt reel, scene by scene, on a day organised by scene type. Then reels we have built on the same three scenes, from the formula.

What you get
Per shoot day, for one product line. The structure is fixed, which is what makes the volume possible.
| Deliverable | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Finished reels | Six to ten, each 8 to 15 seconds: hook, product in use, payoff | Reels, TikTok, Shorts |
| Two ratios | A 9:16 master and a 4:5 export from the same timeline, framed in a 4:5 safe zone | Feed and paid placements |
| Sound | A licensed music bed cut to the scene changes, plus foley: the pour, the lid, the spoon on ceramic | Every reel |
| Range reels | Several products in one reel: a one-second hook each, a shared use scene, the line-up | When you need to show range |
How it runs
The brief
Tell us the products, where the reels will run and what each one should make people want.
Day oneShot list by scene
Every reel needs a hook, a use scene and a payoff, so the list is organised by scene type, not by reel.
Before the shootThe shoot day
Hooks in the morning on a locked macro rig, use scenes at midday, payoffs in the afternoon, variations in the last hour.
One dayThe edit
Assembly: a hook, a use scene and a payoff per product, cut to the music bed, foley added.
After the shootDelivery
Every reel in 9:16 and 4:5, ready to post and ready to run as an ad.

What moves the cost
The number of products and finished reels.
A fixed structure is what lets one day produce six to ten reels. More products, a second location or specialty gear such as motion control or a jib add time.
Where we shoot
Toronto and the GTA.
Narsaik is based in Toronto and shoots product across the Greater Toronto Area. Tell us where the products are and we plan the day around them. Travel outside the GTA is quoted separately.
We also make event videography and monthly content.
Questions
How long should a product reel be?
Eight to fifteen seconds: the hook in the first two, the product in use to about second eight, then the payoff and brand card. Longer cuts belong on a product page, not in the feed.
Should product videos be 4:5 or 9:16?
Both. We deliver 9:16 as the master for Reels, TikTok and Shorts and export 4:5 from the same timeline for the Instagram grid and in-feed ads. The action is framed in a 4:5 safe zone, so neither version needs a reshoot.
How many product reels come out of one shoot day?
Six to ten finished reels is a normal outcome for a consumer brand when the day is organised by scene type: hooks in the morning, use scenes at midday, payoffs in the afternoon.
What if my product does not pour, melt or move?
Then the hook comes from the environment, such as a hand opening a box or a shelf being stocked. It takes more planning, and we work it out in the shot list before the shoot.
How much does product video production cost in Toronto?
It depends mostly on how many products and finished reels you need. Our Toronto video production cost guide breaks down what each level of production includes, and every quote is itemized.
